Requesting City Proclamations
The City is pleased to recognize the people, programs, and events that make Opa-locka unique by issuing proclamations and other recognition. The following may be requested:
- Proclamations – Recognizing a special event or conference
- Commendations – Commemorating significant anniversaries, birthdays, achievements, etc.
- Resolutions of Sympathy – Recognizing the loss of a loved one
- Certificates of Appreciation – Acknowledging donations or service to the city
Please send your request to City Clerk Joanna Flores via email at jflores@opalockafl.gov or call (305) 953-2800. All requests for recognition, with the exception of the Resolution of Sympathy, require a two week advance notice.
