The Police Department is responsible for providing protection of persons and property, the preservation of public peace and order, the prevention, detection and investigation of crimes, the apprehension of offenders, and enforcement of the laws of the state and the ordinances of the City. The members of the Police Department desire to add value to our community by maintaining a low crime rate, a high crime clearance rate, and safe streets.
