Electrician
Department: Public Works    Pay Scale: $27,089 – $45,089 DOQ
Candidate will be required to perform skilled electrical tasks in accordance with standard electrical trade practices. Must be able to utilize specialized tools and testing instruments of the electrical trade to perform technical mechanical work in installation maintenance, repair of electrical equipment, fixtures and controls; repair motors and pumps, repair water & sewer pumping facilities. Must be able to interpret and work from electrical diagrams and blueprints, and have some knowledge of electrical codes.

Public Works/Utilities Director
Department: Public Works    Pay Scale: Negotiable
Extensive knowledge in managing Public Works and Public Utilities. Knowledge of principles, practices and techniques of municipal administration and fiscal concerns, including budgetary development and control, administration of bond, obligated capital improvement projects, and general contract management. Must be able to provide professional level expertise to other City departments, relate to County regulatory agencies, respond to State mandates, secure grant funding, and execute primary departmental functions, including planning, organizing and directing essential services pertaining to streets, grounds, and fleet maintenance, water and sewer utilities and systems, maintenance of City structures, and general public works management (e.g. clean, organized and productive Public Works Compound and associated administrative facilities).

Highly responsible supervisory, administrative, and specialized police work in directing the operations of the department under the direction of the Chief of Police. Plans, implements, direct and supervise the programs, activities and personnel of Bureau or Department. Develops, disseminates, and monitors, policies and procedures. Oversees budgetary considerations for assigned Bureau or the Department as a whole.
