The Finance Department advises the City Manager in the administration, development, and monitoring of the operating and capital budgets.  Additionally the department addresses information requests and makes recommendations on all financial and budgetary policies.

The Finance Department is the central fiscal control and accounting agency, with the Director of Finance serving as Chief Financial Officer assures daily finance and accounting activities including purchasing and accounts payables, payroll, utility billing, preparation of operating and capital budgets, preparation of monthly financial reports, investment and debt management, assessment administration, and cash-flow management.
